About us

With restaurant deliveries soaring, an entirely new delivery and takeout business model emerged. Enter dark kitchens – highly efficient production units without a storefront that are optimized for delivery. Food delivery has been reshaping the restaurant industry since the late 2000s. As more and more people started ordering food online, a significant portion of their orders was facilitated through third-party delivery apps.

Dark kitchens are on the up, with mounds of VC money pouring into startups that serve the industry and major delivery platforms setting up their own facilities. At the start of 2020, Dark kitchens were already being talked about widely as the hot new trend in food delivery.

Who Are We

Launched in 2022, Burger Barn, is the Flagship Dark Kitchen of Moksha Ventures and its wholly owned subsidiary. Moksha Ventures, is a company that in into Dark Kitchens, and also has interests in Real Estate in the State of Goa.

Burger Barn is currently operating on a Single Brand/Single Kitchen model, but soon will move to a Multiple Brand/Single Kitchen model. Burger Barn, follows a Kaizen approach for its business with emphasis on Continuous improvement.

The owners wanted to work on the ideology of healthy yet tasty fast food. Then and there they came up with ‘Burger Barn.’ and showcased the restaurant’s relationship straight with health, taste, and hygiene. Their restaurant is backed up with research and constant innovation to serve healthy food. Spreading its wings across the globe slowly to reach every corner of the world with the health palate as their serving.

A veteran in the Food Industry, with a hands on experience with some of the best known names in the business, the owner, a burger enthusiast decided to make a cost effective Gourmet Burger with variations and ask people what they thought of our creation. He wanted to have fun with this…so he began testing these burgers on self, his friends and super lucky 😉 random strangers. Along the way, he lost a few “Fit” friends, who gained a few inches around the belly and worked extremely hard to finally get to this place…..

As Founder and CEO of Burger Barn TM, the wholly owned subsidiary of Moksha Ventures, Rohit is responsible for driving growth strategy and ensuring that Burger Barn’s values are embedded throughout the system as the filter through which all our business decisions are made, bringing our corporate purpose—to feed and foster community—to life.

Rohit has more than 20 years of experience working in premier global corporations, primarily in the Hospitality, QSR, Real Estate sectors where he held senior management positions. Throughout his career, Rohit has accumulated numerous accolades related to his business results, leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion. He wanted to create something that was off the book and unique to the end customer, which could not be achieved in a closed business environment, so he decided to follow his passion of re-inventing food which guaranteed extras to the customer’s – MORE FLAVOR FOR LESS!

In addition Rohit is also concerned about animal welfare and supports the girl child.

Rohit, is a proud alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIML) and is a 6s Champion and PMP certified.

MANTAVYA DHAMIJA – CSO

Mantavya has a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Punjab. He is a Financial and Technology wiz, and has been associated with Oracle and Mastercard. He manages Strategy and planning for Burger Barn. Mantavya is also an expert in Astrology and is currently in the Top 2 Nadi Astrologers in India, he is precise and 100% accurate in both his personal and business life. He is also Rohit’s wingman and both share a very close bonding.
